Take me back to @turkishbathsharrogate please. I’ve been visiting family in Harrogate all my life, but it was only last week that my aunt shared this gem of a place - the most fully restored Victorian Turkish Baths in Britain. We spent a leisurely couple of hours soaking in the heat and occasionally braving the bracing plunge pool. I’ve already planned a return trip for the winter. I made @smittenkitchen flapjacks late last night and this is the last remaining (partially nibbled) piece, this morning. They are So. Good. I’ve had the last three days off work (although one of those was a post-nights, sleep day) and in these 72 hours, I’ve eaten seven days worth of calories. I have no regrets 🍰 homemade chocolate cake with whipped chocolate cream 🍇 homegrown grapes (who knew you could grow grapes in Yorkshire?!) 🍗 a schnitzel the size of my head from @albertsschloss with the most insanely delicious truffled mash potatoes ☕️ and afternoon tea @themidlandmanchester with friends. Currently in the tearyourhairout stage of purchasing a house.
